Chicago Bow Hunters is a private archery club located in Bolingbrook, Illinois (about 30 miles southwest of Chicago). We have 33 wooded acres with a 30-target 3D course, an NFAA sanctioned field archery range, elevated platforms, broadhead range, and practice range. We also have an indoor, heated and air conditioned 20 yard range in the clubhouse. The clubhouse also offers our members the use of bow testing and tuning equipment.CBH offers bow hunters and target archers a place practice their skills and compete with other archers. We also host 3D and field shoots that are open to the public and a winter indoor league for our members. We have a strong JOAD program for young archers, and our club hosts many state and local tournaments. We have experienced archeryinstructors that hold classes on improving your shooting form. Chicago Bow Hunters is dedicated to preserving the future of hunting, and the sport of archery.
Our field range consists of 28 targets nestled throughout 30 acres of Oak woods with distances ranging from 10 ft. to 80 yards. The Illinois Archery Association and the National Field Archery Association sanction this a 5 star range.
This 25 target (3D) Broadhead range offers the hunter a chance to test equipment setup and shooting skills before hunting season arrives. Large dirt mounds for safety back each target. A number of targets are set up with tree stands.
The heated and air conditioned clubhouse has a well-maintained 20-yard indoor range for open shooting, tournaments and leagues, as well as a full kitchen. Bow press, paper tuning rack and scale are available for member use.
Elevated platforms permit archer to practice for the situations encountered during Spring or Fall hunting. Targets can be placed in any position that is desired.
The practice range consists of targets from 15 feet – 80 yards. It is an ideal place to tune your field equipment and form.
The camping area for those that wish to make a weekend of shooting at the club. Electric hook up available is at each camp location.
