Light Reading

As with any other sport, hobby, discipline or field of study, improvement in archery not only relies on practice, but in education. While CBH JOAD has amazing coaches, a student can certainly benefit from the knowledge of people outside the program as well. There are quite a few books on the market for archery of all kinds; hunting and target, Olympic and compound, developmental and competitive. Below is a listing of some of the coaches’ favorite reads. Most, if not all, are available via Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Lancaster Archery. Happy reading!

Archery by Kim, Hyung Tak

With Winning In Mind by Lanny Basham

Attainment by Troy Basham

Freedom Flight by Lanny Basham

Zen in the Art of Archery by Eugen Herrigel

Thinking Body, Dancing Mind by Chunliang Huang & Jerry Lynch

Golf is Not a Game of Perfect by Dr. Rob Rotella & Bob Cullen

On Target for Understanding Winning Archery by Al Henderson
