Vegas Warm-Up Shooters,
There was some excellent shooting to go along with the shenanigans throughout the day. In the game within the game, the barebow shooter with the most ends of 27 or better (must be all yellow) was Alex de Vera, with a count of 7. In Recurve, Ana Rendon took the honor with 10 perfect ends. The most perfect ends in Compound was Maverick Lewis with 14. He also snagged his Silver Olympian pin in the first part of the event. A big day for Maverick!
If your division was not yet decided when you left and you earned a medal, we gave medals to your teammates. If they do not have them and we owe you a medal, please let me know.
An event like this cannot happen without many people pulling the oars. Pete Taylor helped with awards throughout the 5pm line. Jim McDonough took care of registrations on the 5pm line and made sure things got squared away at the end of a long day. Andrew Querol set up registration and Heather Hodge was there every step of the way, with planning, set up, take down and tournament execution. Thanks everyone!
